PowerTimer is a beautifully designed timer app to handle EVERY timing need you have. Cooking, working out, study, work, or play - you can create timer routines that suits your needs.

◎ Beautifully full screen

◎ As complex as you need

Each timer can have multiple sections. You can loop sections, and add multiple steps.

Each step can have its own ringtone, duration.

Upon expiry, configure the timer to allow snoozing, or have it send you multiple notifications for your attention.

◎ Customization

You can colour your timers as sticky notes, available in six colours.

Pick an icon that fits, and a rocking animation that loops as it counts down.

You can also create groups to further organize your timers.

◎ Home Screen widgets

Pin a timer to the Home Screen with widgets, or see it on iPhone in StandBy. Tap the timer, and you are taken directly to the app, opening the timer in full screen.

◎ Siri and Shortcuts

Control your timers via voice commands with Siri. Create complex workflows in Shortcuts that controls or checks the timer status. The possibility is endless.

Hope you’ll enjoy this update! 3.8.1 11/10/2022 PowerTimer 3.8 brings you support for iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max. Plus, we are giving you widgets for the timers on the Lock Screen with iOS 16—now you can access your timers directly from there.

Also included are some bug fixes and optimization. Hope you’ll enjoy this update! 3.8 09/14/2022 Hello there! PowerTimer 3.6 brings a few bug fixes and some new ringtones.

New ringtones: boxing bells!
* Choose from single, double or triple chimes for boxing bell sounds. These ringtones are a powerful way to start or pause your HIIT workout, or for… well… boxing!

Hope you’ll enjoy this update. As always, please feel free to reach out for any feedback or suggestions. 3.6 06/07/2022 Hello there! PowerTimer 3.5 fixed some localization issues. It also prepares the app for more languages that may release in the future. 3.5 05/10/2022 Hello there! PowerTimer 3.4 fixed a few bugs that involved timers running on iPhone XS and earlier devices. 3.4 04/27/2022 Version 3.3 fixed some issue when editing complex timer routines.

This version also improved UI efficiency. Now the app runs more efficiently in full screen mode. 3.3 04/16/2022 PowerTimer 3.2 gives you the freedom to manipulate time when the timer is running. This gives you a few extra minutes when your dish needs a minute of extra simmering, or when you need to skip/repeat a set of workout.

You can do these in Full Screen mode—
* Step forward or backward when timer is running or paused
* Seek forward or back by 15 seconds (or 60 seconds) when timer is running or paused
* Control buttons automatically dismisses themselves after 5 seconds of inactivity

PowerTimer 3.2 also adds app state restoration. It’s the backstage hero that gives you the impression that PowerTimer never quits in the background. On iPad, if you put a timer in Split Screen, PowerTimer always jumps back to this timer—until you swipe up to close this “window”.

Note that PowerTimer doesn’t actually run in the background. It only added support for iOS and iPadOS app restoration features to provide this seamless experience.

PowerTimer 3.2 has a few bug fixes:
* Timer presets on first launch had “dishwasher” running at 3 minutes and 30 seconds. No dishwasher that we knew of could finish a wash cycle that fast. Fixed.
* Full screen view may appear clipped on 12.9-inch iPad Pro models (all generations) and 11-inch iPad Pro models. Fixed, and now PowerTimer provides a vertical layout with the same extra large text and buttons.
* Some labels and buttons were not properly localized in Chinese. Fixed. 3.2 01/30/2022 This version allows you to export your timers for backup. You can also import timers from a previous export.

Also included are bug fixes:
- Notifications were not properly sent on some rare occasions. Fixed
- Typos on certain texts. Fixed
- Timer steps did not properly update when you add a new step. Fixed
- Timers no longer show a meaningless "1 step" when there is only one section, one step and one repetition 3.1 01/19/2022 Version 3.0.1 fixed some issues with Siri, Shortcuts and Widgets:
* Fixed an issue that would crash the system when you try to add a new timer.
* Fixed an issue that would prevent the list of timers from showing up, when configuring a widget or when selecting a timer in Shortcuts app.
* Fixed localization issues with Widgets and Shortcuts actions. 3.0.1 12/01/2021 Here comes PowerTimer 3.0, a major update that brings true power to your timers.

> > Introducing Timer Sections
Back in the old 2.0 days, there were timer and timer steps. Now there’s something in the middle—timer section!
Each timer section can be looped independently, and you can chain together timer sections. Now you can do Tabata with 8 loops in the middle, and your warm-up and cooldown on either side. This ensures your most complex routine fits into PowerTimer.
Your existing timers will convert into single-section timers, but you can edit and add more to them now.

> > New URL Scheme
Accompanying the new timer section setup, PowerTimer’s new URI scheme is more scalable than ever. A new sharing feature is coming soon after this, so that you can share what you create with family and friends.

> > Focus Mode support
Introduced in Version 2.6, PowerTimer can deliver notifications about timer expiry when you have Focus Mode enabled in iOS 15.
To do that, go to Settings app → Focus, pick your Focus Mode, and enable “Time Sensitive” in Allowed Apps.

> > Refinements
* Localization is refined in many places throughout the app, from the main app to widgets, and to notifications.
* Some busy elements are hidden from plain sight when you are just getting started. This happens when you open the sidebar, create a new timer, edit a timer group, or pick an icon.
* We restructured code base, migrated data model, and re-created some of the data backbones. You should not notice a thing at the moment, but this will allow us to deliver more stuff in the near future.

> > So many bugs crushed
* Fixed an issue that prevented iOS and iPadOS widgets to configure properly (or to crash the Home Screen when you attempt to edit a widget)
* Fixed many UI glitches throughout the app, mostly with the full screen timer view, and with the timer configuration view

--------------

PowerTimer 3.0 is a free update for those who bought PowerTimer Plus as an in-app purchase. If you are using the app for free, you can continue to do so and use what was available to you before.

Hope you’ll enjoy this update! As always, please feel free to reach out if you have any suggestions or feedback. 3.0 11/29/2021 Version 2.6 has an updated system to deliver notifications. This version also includes updated UI and some bug fixes.

> > Timer wouldn’t refresh when operated on by Siri or Shortcuts. Fixed.

> > iPhone or iPad wouldn’t stay awake when a timer was displayed in full-screen mode. Fixed.
> > The app would not show timer in full-screen mode when triggered from Shortcuts App or with Siri. Fixed.
> > The app would not show requested group from Shortcuts App or with Siri. Fixed.
> > The app will now show a message when there is no timer to display in a group. 2.4.1 11/23/2020 Power Timer 2.4 has bug fixes following the 2.3 release to the new iPhone models.

> > When configuring a timer, icon might not update with a new selection. Fixed.

#### New in 2.0 ####

Power Timer 2.0 is a major redesign. We’re packing the app with more power than ever, and it’s been done with up-to-date architecture and fluid UI.

TL;DR — Timers are more flexible and powerful; there’s full Siri integration; you can pull up timers full screen and see it from across the room. And there’s belated Dark Mode and Split-screen support.

> > Power to the Timers!

Add steps to timers so that segments will run back to back. Loop the steps several times to cater to your most complex timing needs.

You also have the option to receive multiple alerts after timer expires, so that you don’t forget.

> > Nice to the eye; nice to the ear

Dark Mode support. Dynamic types. More discernible colours. More ringtones to choose from. Power Timer 2.0 looks and sounds better in so many ways.

Enter full screen mode to see a timer in extra large types — you can essentially see the timer from across the room! On the iPad, there’s a more efficient layout and support for split screen.

> > Full Siri integration

As you set up the timer, you can tell Siri to trigger it with a custom voice command, such as “Doing my laundry” or “Brushing my teeth.” Power Timer has been designed to work with as little touching as possible.

If you are looking for more, you can add timer actions into your own shortcuts. It’s easy to create a shortcut that “Start a 20-minute timer when I open Netflix.”

Power Timer is also tapping into iOS system intelligence. Siri will pick up on your patterns of timer usage, and suggest starting certain timers as appropriate.

> > Widgets

Pin a specific timer on your Home Screen with newly added widgets. You can even launch the timer and enter full-screen mode with one tap.

> > And there’s more

We’ve updated the apps to have more and better ringtones, as well as giving you a range of fully vector-based icons so that they look nice and sharp even when scaled up.

There’s also URL Scheme support such as `powertimer://expired` or `powertimer://timer?id=ABCD` to help you integrate Power Timer into your workflow.

Version 2.0 will be requiring iOS and iPadOS 14. 2.1 09/21/2020

This gives you a few extra minutes when your dish needs a minute of extra simmering, or when you need to skip/repeat a set of workout.

Version 2.0 will be requiring iOS and iPadOS 14. 2.1 09/21/2020 ## New in 2.0.2 ##

This update also fixed some issues with UI and localization.

Hope you’ll enjoy this update. As always, please feel free to reach out for any feedback or suggestions. 3.10 03/20/2023 Version 3.8.1 fixed an issue when starting timer with Shortcuts. Previously, PowerTimer 3.8 brought you support for iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max. Plus, we added Lock Screen widgets on iOS 16—now you can access your timers directly from there.

* Normalized volumes for our existing ringtones, so that they have approximately the same level of volume.
* The boxing ringtones are a free update for PowerTimer Plus users. Enjoy!

Bugs fixed:
* “Edit Steps” button when editing complex timer routines might have text truncated. Fixed.
* “Edit Steps” button might not switch to “Done” when editing the timer steps. Fixed.
* App might unexpectedly crash or silently stop in the background. Fixed, and switching between apps should now be faster and more battery friendly.
